Brikelya Street is located in the city of Grodno and is approximately 1.3 kilometers long. It is named after Pavel Porfiryevich Brikel — Hero of the Soviet Union, Major General, commander of the 6th Guards Cavalry Division, which liberated Grodno in July 1944. The decision to name the street after him was made on October 2, 1985, meaning that in 2026 it will turn 35 years old.
The street is actively used by city transport: bus routes No. 2 and No. 20 run along it, connecting the Devyatovka and Vishnevets microdistricts with the city center. Social facilities located here include Secondary School No. 28 and Housing Maintenance Service No. 19. The residential development consists particularly of 9-story buildings (for example, building No. 3 constructed in 1988 and building No. 21, Building 1 from 1996). Pavel Brikel is also an honorary citizen of Grodno and Lida.
